John Durham co-founded The Weinberg Foundation in 2011.
An active philanthropic environmentalist, Durham has been focused on innovative ways of influencing UK policy to tackle climate change since his retirement from the software industry in 2005.
In the lead up to forming the Foundation, Durham was involved with a number of creative climate change initiatives, including part-funding for the film ‘The Age of Stupid’ directed by Franny Armstrong in 2008.
As a member of a number of influential international organisations, Durham lends his weight and passion to driving debate and research for the development and adoption of thorium-fuelled Molten Salt Reactor technologies.
